Darling Imports began Identifying gemstones almost 27 years ago, when we took our first job. We have been buying and testing here at the office for so long that 10 years ago we listened to our clients and began offering a service of gemstone identification.

Things to Remember:

1. We prefer the stone to be removed from the mounting. This is not required but mountings can prevent us from testing properly and if the ring is in the way we still have to charge for the labor for our attempt.

2. Normal turn around is 6-10 business days. Our staff will test and evaluate the gemstones once we have collected a few samples and will call you the same day that we test.

3. Cost – Gemstones ID’s run $45 flat rate. This is a time consuming process and we do NOT offer discounts on larger quantities.
